The Regulated Parking Service (SER)

Much of central Madrid is within the SER zone, a paid parking area with regulated hours. It is mainly divided into two colors:

Blue zone

Green area

Priority is given to residents; for non-residents, the duration is more limited and the fare is slightly higher. Ideal only for short stops.

Schedules and payment

The regulated parking system (SER) is usually in effect from Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings, with a break at midday in some areas. Parking is free in August and on public holidays.
